The Evergreen Forest offers fun 2-night Girlfriend Getaways for 3-10 women, providing a memorable time for special friends. We know that girlfriends want to do things together, perhaps new and different activities. We strive to tap into your natural inquisitiveness, and make full use of the magnificent wilderness that surrounds us. Our accommodations are excellent for girls getaways, since our rooms occupy an adjoining, private building, and offer separate beds and private bathrooms. It's a great opportunity to reconnect in your own "group space", free from distractions and the workaday world. All rooms share a common walk-out deck, making socializing easy and fun. A very private lounge is yours to use 24/7. Our rooms are all oversize, and double occupancy is very comfortable. Ask us about hammered jewelry classes at a local shop. We recommend booking 2-3 months in advance, so that the rooms of your choice will all be available.

New to snowshoeing? No problem! We offer free-to-use, personally sized snowshoes, and we can help you get started with them. When the snow gets deep, you really need them to go hiking on the trails up here. The highlight of your winter getaway can be the simple joy of snowshoeing. We feature three snowshoeing locations: our own Evergreen Forest trail, Colpoy's Bay, and Skinner's Bluff. The Evergreen Forest trail is for beginners, and we can offer some coaching to get you started. The others are more challenging. They offer lots of spectacular views of Georgian Bay, from high up on the escarpment cliffs

Enjoy a horse-drawn sleigh ride at Dual Acres, for the perfect romantic getaway! We offer you a $50 coupon towards a glorious ride through a 100-acre forest! It's just the two of you in the sleigh, as your driver guides two giant horses through a magical wilderness. Experience the ethereal feeling that you have transcended mere mortality.
